To feel comfortable, dry and protected, firefighters rely on garments featuring GORE-TEX Moisture Barriers with GORE® CROSSTECH® Product Technology, Flameliner construction for EN 469 Level 1 compliant garments. Woven fabric picks up less water and is more durable. GORE® CROSSTECH® Product Technology provides protection against pathogens transmitted through blood and body fluids. Garments made with this laminate are easy to don and doff and are comfortable when worn on the skin. They can be worn alone for EN 469 Level 1 protection or used to obtain EN 469 Level 2 protection by combining with daily fire-retardant gear, which means no additional insulation is needed.

The lightweight Flameliner laminate is made up of an aramid and flame-retardant viscose blend liner combined with an ePTFE membrane. GORE-TEX technology provides a moisture barrier that makes the garments durably waterproof.

End-users who need EN 469 Level 1 protection. Also for use in a layered system to achieve EN 469 Level 2 protection.
