• Protective clothing must be washed separately to avoid deposits of foreign matter (e.g. cotton fluff or lint) on the outer fabric. This also stops the spread of contamination to the wider environment.
• Wash protective clothing right-side out (reflective strips outwards) to obtain optimum cleaning results. Before washing, remove detachable metal parts (e.g. spring hooks) and inscriptions from the back, and empty pockets.
• Close and cover all Velcro® fasteners to prevent deposits of foreign matter or textile damage.
• Use the load capacity of the washing machine according to the manufacturer’s instructions. Typically, fill levels should not exceed 2/3 drum volume.
• Wash temperature: Follow the manufacturer’s care and washing instructions.
• Wash program: deep water easy-care program with pre-wash.
• For commercial washing machines, use special program and the specified detergents.
• Use commercially available colour detergent. Do not use detergents with a very high pH value or a very low pH value. Do not chlorinate. Do not use fabric softener.
• Stain removal: Use pre-wash treatment. Follow the pre-wash manufacturer's instructions. Rinse well.
• Rinse: All alkaline and possibly flammable detergent residues must be removed during the rinsing process.This requires a total of four rinses. Conventional easy-care wash programs have three rinses. In this case, please repeat the rinse program.
• Do not use chlorine bleach. This will only tear the garment and has no bleaching effect.

• Protective clothing can be spin-dried. Turn all protective clothing inside out (insulating lining outwards).
• Protective clothing can be dried in the tumble dryer. This method is recommended for the maintenance of the garment’s durable water-repellent treatment. For tumble drying, clothing should be right-side out (reflective strips outwards).

• Iron on a medium temperature setting (two dots) without steam. Cover reflective strips with a cloth before ironing to protect them.

• Do not use detergents or additives with a very high pH value or a very low pH value. Before cleaning, close or cover all Velcro® fasteners to prevent deposits of foreign matter or textile damage.
• Dry cleaning is recommended for badly soiled protective clothing. This method is particularly effective for soiling that is not water-soluble (e.g. oils, grease, and bitumen). Avoid dry-cleaning soap.
• Dry cleaning must only be carried out by a specialist – we recommend cleaning with perchloroethylene (PER) or hydrocarbon.
• Before using the protective clothing again, check that it is completely free of any solvent. Ensure that no labels are pinned to the clothing as this will damage the GORE-TEX membrane.

• To prevent colour fading, protective clothing should not be stored in direct sunlight or where there are other sources of UV light. Do not store protective clothing when it is wet. It is the wearer’s responsibility to ensure that the layers of protective clothing are intact and fully functional at all times during the product lifecycle. Faulty garments should be disposed.
• Clothing that is no longer in use may be recycled after it is cleaned using the above instructions. For further information, please contact your clothing supplier.

• Clean the exterior with a cloth or brush and lukewarm water. The manufacturer may recommend leather treatment or preservation. Shake out sand, gravel, and dirt from inside the footwear. Remove and shake out the footbed if applicable.

Dry naturally at moderate temperatures. Avoid direct heat. Convection-style boot driers work well.

• Textile Gloves: Follow the manufacturer's instructions. Machine- or hand-wash warm. Squeeze water from fingertips to wrist. Do not twist.
• Leather Gloves and Combined Leather/Textile Gloves: Follow the manufacturer’s instructions.

• Drip-dry with the fingers facing upwards.

• Follow the manufacturer's instructions.

• Use pre-wash treatment. Follow the pre-wash manufacturer's instructions. Rinse well.
